Garlic Chili Oil Green Beans
If you make one green bean recipe, pray let it be this one.
Shake Up:
(& set aside)
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 tsp fresh grated garlic
2 tsp chili oil
1 tblspn soy sauce
3 tsp mirin
1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
Saute:
(in a large, deep skillet)
3 tblspn butter
2 tsp garlic
2 tsp sesame seeds
Toss In:
(and put the lid on)
2 lbs fresh green beans
1/3 c chicken broth
Steam:
About three minutes over medium high heat
Then pour in previously mixed sauce
Keep lid off and cook another 5-6 minutes

man oh MAN are these are some tasty green beans!
