Turkey Meatballs With Sticky Soy Glaze
You'll Need:
For The Meatballs:
1 pound ground turkey
1 egg
1/2 cup GF panko
2 green onions, sliced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon fresh garlic, grated
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For The Soy Glaze:
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, grated
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
Mix:
All meatball ingredients together in a large mixing bowl using your hands
Be sure all ingredients are fully incorporated
(You can also mix them in your standing mixer with a paddle attachment)
Roll:
Into 1" balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet
Bake:
At 425F for 12 minutes
While those are baking...
In A Small Saucepan...
Whisk:
All ingredients for glaze
Simmer:
For about 6 minutes
Remove:
From heat and allow to thicken
Toss:
Meatballs in glaze
Garnish:
With green onions and sesame seeds
Serve:
With rice
